Why We Gather
Our wish for this gathering was to create a smaller-scale event, a space where we can meet friends, dance together, and have enough unstructured time to connect organically.
The sun, the sea, and the simplicity of life in a camp, in an off-grid venue nestled in nature, support us in slowing down and arriving more fully into our bodies. Living simply and close to nature invites us to gently shed some of the layers of everyday life and to reconnect with a more grounded, attentive presence.
From this place, we can open more deeply to connection, community living, and shared exploration through the beautiful practice of Contact Improvisation.
It is especially meaningful for us to see people returning year after year. Gradually, a small and warm community is forming around this gathering, and we cherish the continuity, friendships, and shared memories that grow from meeting again on the dance floor and in everyday camp life.
We imagine the camp as a rhythm of time that balances learning and open exploration: days structured in slots for studying with teachers, alongside generous space for jamming, resting, and researching the practice together through different open forms.
